Customer Reviews
Hi Lynn!

Just wanted to check in and let everyone know how my clubs that you fitted and built for me are doing. I normally shot between 80 and 86 with a rare trip into the high 70s. The first time I played with the new clubs I shot an 80, nothing unusual right? Wrong-I had double bogeys on the first three holes due to flying over the first three greens, I hit the Miura blades almost 15 yards farther than my Nike Sumos!!! From there on great golf! The next time out I had the best (so far) round of my life 74, the next time when my wife asked me what I shot I said, oh I played bad today a 77! Getting you to build these clubs along with joining PPGS is the best thing that has ever happened to my golf game!! Cant wait for my first even par round, and soon after my first under par round! Thanks for all you did for me. Worth every penny that the clubs cost. Fantastic investment!

Lynn,

I want to thank you for the time you spent with me during the fitting process and making me a truly great set of clubs. I appreciate your courtesy and professionalism shown to me during the fitting. I have played four rounds of golf with the new clubs and played my best round last Sunday (47 degree weather) since I moved to South Carolina a year ago. Shot 74. Prior to that round I have struggled to break 80.

Again thanks, these clubs are everything you said they would be. They are the most solid feeling clubs I have ever hit. The flight pattern, distance and feel are everything I was expecting from a set of custom fitted clubs.

Many thanks.

Hey Mr. Griffin I was trying to leave a comment but didn't know how so i did this. I wanted to say that I am so grateful for the help you have given me since i have been at Newberry it has been greatly appreciated. You really know what you are doing and your advice has made me more confident in my clubs and in turn made me a better golfer. I hope to see you soon maybe to go over a 3 wood because i hate mine but that is besides the point. I just wanted to say what you do is greatly appreciated and keep it up!

Hi Doc; I wanted to take this time to thank you for working with me on my fitting Tuesday of this week. I especially enjoyed the uninterrupted time you spent with me and the honesty in regard to my swing and what you see as my present ability; especially with the driver. I was very impressed with the comfort and ease you made me feel immediately. I am looking forward to receiving my new clubs. I am determined to improve my early release with the driver and am going to work diligently to hit the ball on the upswing and increase my club head speed. With that in mind; I think the "Swing Rite Trainer" will help me obtain this goal. Will you please add a swing Rite Trainer to my club order. I want you to know that driving 750 miles round trip to meet a "Real Professional Fitter" and have you work with me was well worth my time and money. May God continue to bless you and your entire family as he is the healer and has the "perfect Swing" for all our needs. I feel I have met a new friend.

Evening guys! The other day Robert Meade and I were talking about Doc's "long-distance" fittings and since the topic at hand seems to be shafts and fittings, I would like to share with each of you the results of my long-distance (2700 miles) fitting by Doc Griffin. I received my custom-built "Doc" driver a couple of days ago and the snow finally melted enough so I could get to the range Thursday and try it out. One word describes the experience - INCREDIBLE!!! Doc built me a 12*, 350 cc offset driver with a 43 1/2" shaft that weighs in at 45 grams. I have NEVER, EVER hit a driver so good, so long, and so accurate. PERIOD! I hit 40 range balls at a pre-selected target of known distance, and each one was at least 20 yards longer than my previous best drives, and right down the "bowling alley". I have never hit a club so solid, so easy and so consistently. All but two impacts were dead-center on the club face, and the miss-hits were due to me trying to "kill" the ball! So, if you really want to improve your game, get the right tools. I highly recommend talking to Doc about his "long-distance" fitting program. It works, plain and simple. Doc honestly knows his stuff, and knows what it takes to make a stick that is right for every individual. Doc Griffin: thank you so very, very much for all you do for everyone on this site. You make golf fun! Hit 'em long and straight!

I stopped by the Golf Stop to be fitted by Doc Griffin on my way to Florida last December. Last year, my first full winter in Florida, I had a hard time breaking 100. I averaged 87 last month. How much is due to the new clubs and how much of it is due to more playing, I'm not sure. But one thing I'm sure of is I'm not sorry I gave myself a new set of clubs for Christmas. Thanks Lynn.

Hello Doc,

Had my clubs for weeks now and between work/family I couldn't get out to play. I had them up at Frankies on Ashley Phosphate hitting some range balls, but this wasn't the real test. I played Westcott today and found out a couple of things about my game. I moved the ball up in my stance and teed it up high. I had my partner check me out and made some minor adjustments. The last 5 drives I hit them 245-260 yds and I launched one 273 yds. All of them never wavered 5 yds either side of my target line. I never hit a 250 yd drive in my life! Everything just seemed to come together, My fairway woods I initially hit them off the toe. I believe this was due to my old set of clubs being longer, so again I made some adjustments and I was nailing them on the back nine.
Yes, I could use some lessons, but my confidence is really high and I may sneak out tomorrow if only to get nine in. I'm thrilled to death with these clubs. I made some great shots with the wedges and the utility clubs are easier to hit than I thought they would be. Even my friends couldn't believe the difference in the way I was playing. Thanks a million Doc, this was the best and most enjoyable day of golf I ever had. I was very anxious to drop you a line and tell you about it.

George
